Dr Huang completed her medical degree at the University of Queensland in 1999. She sought to broaden her medical experience throughout her years of training. To do this, she worked in a variety of hospitals in regional and metropolitan areas in Queensland. She has since worked and trained in both Sydney and Toowoomba as a GP. She was able to gain considerable experience in all areas of general practice, throughout this period.

In addition to this, Dr Huang has completed postgraduate studies. These include a Diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, in 2003. As well as her extensive experience in all areas of general practice, Dr Huang has special interests in preventive medicine, women’s health and children’s health. Dr Huang views herself as very fortunate for having attained her position and she is very passionate about her work. Outside of her professional interests, she enjoys painting, playing table tennis and spending time with family. She is also fluent in Mandarin and Taiwanese.
