Dr Vin Tran has a special interest in mental health and ADHD management, working collaboratively with patients, families, and referring Top Health Doctors GPs to provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and ongoing shared care support tailored to individual needs.

Dr Tran is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), a Supervisor in the General Practice Training Program, and co-owner of a large teaching practice in Springfield Central, where he has worked since 2007.

He has a strong interest in mental and emotional health, with a biopsychosocial approach that integrates physical, psychological, and social factors to support overall wellbeing. His work combines general practice with health coaching and counselling to help patients achieve meaningful, sustainable change.

Dr Vin takes a flexible, patient-centred approach to care, tailoring each therapeutic process to the individual. His counselling may incorporate a range of evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and parenting programs such as Triple P and 1-2-3 Magic, as well as non directive pregnancy support counselling.

He grew up in the northern suburbs of Brisbane and has worked in both metropolitan and regional communities, including Bundaberg and Goondiwindi.

Outside of work, Dr Vin enjoys spending time with his family and being near the ocean or water.
