Mental Health

We are here to help.

Mental Healthcare with experienced and understanding Doctors.

One in five adult Australians suffer from a mental health condition every year. The most common conditions are depression, anxiety and substance use disorder.

At Top Health Doctors, our doctors are trained to provide support to help our patients to achieve the optimal mental health state by taking the time to understand our patients.

We provide counselling often through the government funded Mental Health Care Plan, if appropriate. In other times, in consultation with our patients, medications are trialled.

Many of our doctors have special interest in mental health. They have completed further postgraduate training in in Mental Health Focused Psychological strategies with a focus on mindfulness techniques and anxiety management.

Others have undertaken training in clinical hypnotherapy by the College of Medical Hypnosis.
