Dr Vincent Lee grew up in Brisbane and completed his medical degree at the University of Queensland. He has trained at a variety of Brisbane South hospitals including PA, QE2 and Logan, as well as what was previously known as the Royal Children’s Hospital. He underwent GP training in Goondiwindi for a year and at Carbal Medical Centre – an Indigenous medical service in Toowoomba and Warwick – for a year.
Dr Lee has a variety of clinical interests. He is particularly interested in mental health care, and is accredited to provide Focussed Psychological Strategies (including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Interpersonal Therapy) under Medicare. He is also trained in providing clinical hypnotherapy by the College of Medical Hypnosis. His other clinical interests include Travel Medicine, Paediatrics, Palliative Care, advanced diabetes care and iron infusion therapy. Outside of his clinical role he is also engaged in health-systems improvement through SpotOnHealth HealthPathways, a collaborative initiative between the Brisbane South Primary Health Network and Metro South Health.
In his spare time, he enjoys serving his local church community, gardening, singing, cooking and photography.
