Dr Veronica Forde graduated from Griffith University Medical School post-graduate program as a mature age student and obtained her fellowship in General Practice through the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Veronica was born and bred in Brisbane and worked in both Logan and Redlands Hospital. Her General Practice experience has been in rural Queensland, so she has had hands on experience with most medical issues, and procedures such as skin excisions, treatment of ingrown toenails, and Implanon placement & removal. She can treat complex medical conditions including, diabetes, heart and lung conditions and thyroid disorders as well as her special areas of interest listed above.

Veronica enjoys all of General Practice medicine, particularly supporting patients to make positive changes and live healthy and happy lives, no matter what stage of life they are in. She practices holistic care, which includes understanding the unique situation of each patient, the aspects of the patient’s life affecting their health, the practical barriers that interfere with treatment, as well as educating patients about their health and healthcare. The focus is to make a real life difference.

Veronica has known and enjoyed West End, and the Brisbane lifestyle for almost her entire life having lived in inner south Brisbane for many years.
