Dr Pummi Roy is a family physician who believes in the holistic approach to improve the health and wellbeing of her patients, while maintaining continuity of care.

As everyone is different, Dr Roy aims to provide unique treatment options for each of her patients to achieve the best outcome possible, using a patient-centered approach. This means working together to find a treatment that works best for you.

Dr Roy graduated from India with MBBS, excelling in public health and dermatology and worked in several countries as a doctor before relocating to Australia in 2005. She initially worked at the Royal Perth Hospital for 4 years and then moved to Queensland to continue working at The Townsville Hospital.

In 2016, she joined Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Service (TAIHS) as full time General Practitioner and moved down south to Brisbane to complete her training.

Dr Roy is very friendly, understanding and dedicated to her patients and is also proficient in Hindi and English. She enjoys the diversity of General Practice, listening to music and playing with Murphy, her little beagle.
