Doctor Bio
Dr Maria Barker-Mott grew up in rural QLD and is a graduate of the University of Queensland. She completed her residency years at Redcliffe Hospital and went on to train in GP practices around Brisbane, gaining her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2012.
Dr Barker-Mott has completed her Fellowship of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College and is an AHPRA registered Medical Acupuncturist. Dr Barker-Mott is currently serving as the Vice-President of the Australian Medical Acupuncture College – QLD Branch.
Dr Barker-Mott has a strong focus on training the next generation of doctors and has been involved in the supervision of Medical Acupuncture trainees, GP trainee registrars and medical students.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family as well as martial arts, running and scuba diving. She is also a qualified Original Strength Coach.
Dr Barker-Mott operates her own medical services business within Top Health Doctors.
