Dr Leah Cortez completed her medical degree in 1997 at the University of Santo Tomas Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, Manila, Philippines. Dr Leah Cortez is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has worked in Australia since 2005 and has acquired a wealth of experience while training in numerous Queensland Hospitals & General Practice.
Dr Cortez has completed her Diploma in Child Health & has a special interest in Paediatrics & Women’s health. Dr Cortez is aligned with the Mater Mother’s Hospital and is able to provide GP shared care for antenatal care.
Our Doctors care for families with babies and young children through to the elderly of our community of many cultural backgrounds from many walks of life.
