Dr Mitchell Robinson has a strong interest in skin cancer and dermatology. After receiving his Bachelor of Science (Honours) from the University of Queensland, he undertook his postgraduate medical school training in Wollongong. He has subsequently continued his tertiary education and is completing his Masters of Medicine focusing on diagnosis and management of skin cancer.
After completing his internship at Bankstown Hospital in Sydney, he moved to Brisbane to do his residency at the PA hospital. He has worked in many areas of medicine, including emergency medicine, plastic surgery, urology, general surgery and dermatology.
He currently works at the PA hospital one day per week with the dermatology team conducting research into advanced skin cancer diagnosis techniques. In his spare time he enjoys fishing for bass and trout, playing music and spending time with his wife.
