Dr Roy is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She graduated overseas with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2009. She then migrated to Australia and completed additional Residency training across multiple hospitals in Brisbane obtaining valuable experience in Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Emergency Medicine and Cardiology. Dr Roy then undertook specialist training in General Practice and was awarded the Fellowship from the RACGP.
Dr Roy enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with particular interests in Women’s Health including Contraception (Implanon trained), Pregnancy planning and Antenatal Care. She is aligned with the Mater Antenatal Program and is qualified to provide Shared Antenatal Care. She also has a keen interest in Children’s Health, Mental Health, Skin conditions and Management of Chronic diseases.
Dr Roy is approachable, friendly and enjoys an excellent relationship with her patients. Outside of work, she enjoys movies, music and travel.
