Dr Nastaran Rafieian

Nastaran is from Iran, where in 2011 she graduated from medical school, having done 18 months of internship in various hospitals and emergency departments, giving her a broad general medical experience. She then explored other areas like sport medicine, addiction treatment and providing care for vulnerable and marginalised communities, all of which have had significant impacts on her current practice of medicine. In 2014 she immigrated to Australia and in 2019 she received her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She enjoys and values general practice and is passionate about mental health, paediatrics, women and sexual health. She has further education in mental health and is a GP provider of Focussed Psychological Strategies (FPS). Medical cannabis and medical termination of early pregnancy are other areas Nas can help patients with.
When not working she likes to spend time with friends and family. She enjoys sports and nature, appreciates a good movie and loves reading books.
