Appointments at Top Health Doctors Clinics

As the incidence of covid in the community increases, our covid-19 plan for protecting our staff and patients is in place for all of the community. We kindly ask our patients to understand we have the health of all in mind and to please follow the policies of the clinic and be patient during these times.

 

 

Covid-19 Symptoms

Top Health Doctors group requests that any individuals who begin experiencing respiratory symptoms (runny nose, sore throat, fever, cough, difficulty breathing) or have recently travelled interstate/ overseas / been to a “hot spot” or a “contact tracing site” as listed by Queensland Health or had contact with someone diagnosed with the novel coronavirus within the last 14 days: Please call our medical centre BEFORE arrival so that the appropriate infection control measures can be put in place and people can be directed to the best place for testing and treatment.

 

Masks

Masks are an important protective means for you and those around you. We require all patients to please wear a mask when entering our clinics.

Rapid Antigen Testing

We may request that you have a Roche Rapid Antigen test prior to your scheduled appointment time.

The test takes between 15-30mins and you will be advised by the friendly reception team at each clinic regarding the need and arrangement for this testing.

 

 

Top Health Doctors Underwood Clinic

The Underwood Clinic has a private isolation area behind the clinic to be attended if directed by reception staff.  Please be advised there may be an extra cost incurred if Rapid Antigen test is used on a patient.

Unvaccinated Patients

 

Patients must be well, have no symptoms of Covid-19, and pass screening questions. We reiterate that masks are mandatory.

 

Telehealth

 

Telehealth is available for existing patients and patients who have been diagnosed with covid-19.  An out of pocket fee may apply.

 

Covid-19 Patients

 

Many patients who have been diagnosed with Covid-19 and have mild to moderate symptoms will be able to isolate and stay at home until they have recovered. Existing patients will be supported via Telehealth appointments.
